The Journey Begins
Thank you for joining me. I have had an interest in photography for quite some time. School, work and more work over the years have kept me from developing this passion. However, any opportunity I found, I tried just a little to refine my skill. After switching careers and having some more life-work balance, I decided to pick it up on a regular basis. I had an excuse now. I move to a new city, Washington.
I was slow at first. One day at the National Cathedral, a fellow photographer asked me if I was looking for gargoyles. I replied that I am just trying to get by the basics. "Practice make better, you will see" he said and wished me luck. From then on I have my camera with me pretty much every where I go.
I thought this place would be my journal. I hope you enjoy it.
The following picture is one of my favorites. Taken on 20.4.2014, Easter, Chios Greece. I was visiting my family for Easter and for the first time I got to see the rocket war that goes one every year for over a hundred years.
