Συλλογή 013: Rock Creek Park 11.2019
One of my favorite places in DC. An oasis in the middle of our capital. Wilderness amidst the big city. In my early days in DC I would get lost in its trails, finding peace. I still do, enjoying quiet trail runs with Rachel.
That November we went out for some fall pictures but I was too slow and it ended up getting late. The light was low but the colors were still amazing. This was a great chance for some low light photography.
I had no tripod as usual. But I was able to capture some nice pictures.
In these two I kept the aperture at medium and increased exposure time. I like the different focal focal points. Can you see them. It looks as if they have found stillness amongst the moving leaves.
The next couple of photos the aperture was larger, so was the exposure and ISO at 200. I was just curious how this combination would work. Pretty cool.
After I took the last photo, Rachel stood there for a minute. The color of her coat and hair was perfect with the background. Normally, I do not post pictures of her in this blog but this is an exception.
And always see the high-res images here. Enjoy!
