Συλλογή 026: Fort Dupont - Fall 2022
Fall is upon us or is on its way out. DC’s foliage is quite diverse. It is the region’s second Spring. This collection is from Fort Dupont National Park . South of the Anacostia River, the park was part of DC’s Civil War defenses. While it did not see battle, it was a refuge for runaway slaves who found safety there.
To the pictures now. The weather cooperated quite well. Some spots were still green, but others were a mix of different colors. With strong light, it is a bit of a challenge to bring out the color in photos so there was some post-processing in some of them. Enjoy! As always the full collection is here.
